About

IRTA Sant Carles de la Ràpita is a research institute owned by the Government of Catalonia adscribed to the Department of Agriculture. IRTA's purpose is to contribute to the modernization, competitiveness and sustainable development of agriculture, food and aquaculture sectors, the supply of healthy and quality foods for consumers and, generally, improving the welfare of the population.

Role within WIN-FISH

WP 2 leader, classification of SCS in seabream (task 1.3 ), validation of welfare indicators (task 2.2 and 2.3), responsible for experiments investigating effects of stocking densities in the nursery phase of sea bream in RAS (task 3.1).
